ABOUT COMPETITIVE SOCCER

Competitive program provides the highest level of competition for those players that have demonstrated a desire and an ability to play and train on more committed level than Developmental or Academy Program.

To be placed in competitive team each player have to participate in TRY-OUT evaluation process. At the completion of the try-outs each player or parent will be informed of the player's team placement at the Elite Soccer Academy web site. The position or commitment, MUST BE ACCEPTED WITHIN 3 days of the offer or position may be given to the next most qualified player.
If a player does not make a competitive team he/she will be offered an opportunity to play in one of the other programs.

Elite Soccer Academy teams compete in Division I and Division II of the SFUYSA, FLUGSA and Palm Beach Soccer League. Division placement depends upon the players ability.
Throughout the year, our competitive teams travel throughout our County and region for the away league games and two to three local and away tournaments throughout the year.
Minimum practice requirement is two to three times per week (depending of the age groups) with one game per week .

Our Director of Player development is actively involved in planning, supervising training sessions and work closely with coaching staff to create ultimate environment for the player development.

WHAT IS ACADEMY PROGRAM?

U-8 Academy is a key program and serves as foundation/preparation for all players who have potential to play the game at higher, more committed level in (COMPETITIVE PROGRAM) as they get older.

The purpose of forming the ACADEMY format is to focus on player development, with no emphasis on result and where scores and standings are not maintained.

The ACADEMY program is designed and open for all players within the Club in the U-8 to U-10 age groups and there will be no try-outs, selections or ratings for participants. The
ACADEMY program does not "cut" the players, but matches the player abilities with age appropriate competition and training activities.

In comparison to Competitive Travel Program, ACADEMY requires PRACTICE once per week with one game over the week-end. Week-end games are organized in festival setting play in tiered or mixed setting, against existing ACADEMY teams or a compatible outside organizations in our district and region.
